Definitionپێناسە
The method that trains a . It sends the network's error backwards, from the output to the input, and works out how much each connection should change to make the error smaller.
ئەو ڕێگەیەی کە پێ ڕادەهێنرێت. هەڵەی تۆڕەکە لە بەرەو دەگەڕێنێتەوە و دەیژمێرێت هەر پەیوەندییەک چەند پێویستە بگۆڕێت تاکو هەڵەکە کەم ببێتەوە.
Exampleنموونە
After a network guesses "dog" for a photo of a cat, backpropagation works out how much each connection added to the mistake, and every connection is then changed a little.
دوای ئەوەی تۆڕێک بۆ وێنەی پشیلەیەک دەڵێت «سەگ»، دەیژمێرێت هەر پەیوەندییەک چەندی لە هەڵەکەدا بەشدار بووە و پاشان هەموو پەیوەندییەکان کەمێک دەگۆڕدرێن.

Proposed by the AI-course writer (AIW5) for the owner's open question «Back Propagation?» in Lec6 (ai.l6.p03.t05). No Kurdish equivalent was found in the owner's papers or the course's Kurdish sources; the ckb is a transparent description (literally "sending the error back"), modelled on Persian پسانتشار / Arabic الانتشار الخلفي. Reviewer: a shorter coinage such as «پاشبڵاوکردنەوە» is possible. Review RAI5 (2026-10-18): no attested Sorani term was found on the web (Kurdish AI sites such as jiridastkrd.com and jirwan.com use no term for it); the owner's papers write the English name. Shorter options for the linguist: «پاشبڵاوکردنەوە» (calque of Persian پسانتشار), «بڵاوکردنەوەی پێچەوانە» (calque of Arabic الانتشار العكسي), «گەڕاندنەوەی هەڵە» (two words, same meaning as the current ckb). The related term gradient descent was removed from AIW5: no lesson needs it. (merge 2026-10-18) Kept the descriptive ckb; the two shorter options are listed as alternatives for the linguist.
