Definition
A symbol that says for how many values a must be true: ∀ ('for all') means for every value, and ∃ ('there exists') means for at least one.
Example
∃ I (⟨I, N⟩ ∈ Student ∧ N = 'Ali') is true if at least one student is called Ali.
∃ I (⟨I, N⟩ ∈ Student ∧ N = 'Ali')
Note on the Kurdish term
No Kurdish equivalent is established: neither the course material nor the four surveyed Kurdish sources (S1–S4) name it, and CêIT does not invent a term without review, so Kurdish text shows the English word for now. Students can read the symbols as «بۆ هەموو» (∀) and «هەیە» (∃). Candidates for a reviewer: Re-checked at the merge (2026-10-18): the owner's Kurdish writing and the AI-course sources have no word for it either, so it stays missing until a linguist chooses one.
