Proposed by the stat-variance-and-standard-deviation writer (SPW4). پلە (degree, as in پلەی گەرمی) + ئازادی (freedom), a calque of Arabic «درجات الحرية» and English 'degrees of freedom'. No attested Kurdish statistics usage was found online (search 2026-10-23); check the Kurdistan Region grade 11–12 statistics books before review.
