A rule X → Y between columns of a table: whenever two rows have the same value in X, they must also have the same value in Y. We say 'X determines Y'.
ڕێسایەکی X → Yـیە لە نێوان ستوونەکانی خشتەیەکدا: هەر کاتێک دوو ڕیز لە Xـدا هەمان نرخیان هەبێت، دەبێت لە Yـیشدا هەمان نرخیان هەبێت. دەڵێین «X، Y دیاری دەکات».

وابەستەیی (dependence) is plain Sorani. فەنکشنی keeps the mathematical sense of 'function'; the registry's programming term function (کردار) was avoided because کرداری also means 'practical'. Linguistic review needed.
