Numbers that come from counting, so only separate values are possible (0, 1, 2, …) and nothing lies between them.
ئەو ژمارانەن کە لە ژماردنەوە دێن، بۆیە تەنها نرخی جیا لە یەک دەبن (0، 1، 2، …) و هیچ نرخێک لە نێوانیاندا نییە.

The number of children in a family is discrete: a family can have 2 or 3, but not 2.4.

Built on the registry's discrete-environment = ژینگەی پچڕاو (and the school word پچڕاو, discontinuous). The owner's «دراوەی ژمێردراو» (count data, the owner's essay «بیرکاری و کۆمپیوتەر (پەیوەندیی نێوانیان)» (2022)) is kept as an alternative.
