A simple that works like sorting playing cards in your hand: take the next value, shift the bigger values of the sorted part one place right, and drop the value into the gap. It is fast on lists that are already almost sorted.

Same shape as the proposed selection-sort «ڕیزکردن بە هەڵبژاردن» (FOPW8): ڕیزکردن + «بە تێخستن» (by inserting), like Arabic «الترتيب بالإدراج». «تێخستن» is already used for inserting in interpolation «تێخستنی گۆڕاو». Proposed by PYDW2.
