Ending a so that all of its changes become permanent at once. In SQL it is the COMMIT statement; after it, the changes survive a crash and can no longer be undone with ROLLBACK.

Kept apart from the registry term commit (کۆمیت), which is a git commit. جێگیرکردن alone is already the registry word for 'install', so the phrase names the transaction: جێگیرکردنی مامەڵە ('making the transaction fixed'); the verb جێگیر کردن (to commit) follows naturally in sentences. کۆمیت is what many Kurdish developers say. Needs linguistic review. Kept as proposed at the merge (2026-10-18); listed for the linguist. The registry's tcl no longer lists COMMIT as an alias, so this entry is the one place that defines a database COMMIT.
