Turing Machine
Proposed Kurdish term — under review

Definition

A simple imaginary machine described by Alan Turing in 1936: it reads and writes symbols on an endless tape by following a table of rules. It is used to define exactly what an algorithm can compute.

Example

Any program that you can write in Python could, in principle, be run by a Turing machine, only much more slowly.

Lec2 p. 9 names it as a model of computation. Built on ئامێر (machine), as in the registry's machine-code and machine-learning, with تیورینگ spelled as in the owner's report. Proposed.
