A special PHP type that holds a link to something outside PHP, such as an open file. You get resources from functions like fopen(); you do not create them yourself.
جۆرێکی تایبەتی PHPـیە کە بەستەرێک بۆ شتێکی دەرەوەی PHP هەڵدەگرێت، وەک فایلێکی کراوە. سەرچاوە لە وەک fopen() وەردەگیرێت؛ خۆت دروستی ناکەیت.

Note on the Kurdish termتێبینی دەربارەی زاراوە کوردییەکە
In code the type is named resource; سەرچاوە is the everyday Kurdish word for "resource" (and "source"). The Kurdish scientists' dictionary and Barzinji's dictionary both give سەرچاوە for 'resource' (in the general sense).
