A column whose value is worked out from an expression instead of being typed: in an Access query you write it in the Field row as Name: expression, and in SQL as an expression with an alias (price * qty AS total). Because it is computed each time, it never goes out of date.

Note on the Kurdish termتێبینی دەربارەی زاراوە کوردییەکە

ACCW2 2026-10-24: «ستوون» (the registry's field) + «ژمێردراو» (computed), the wording course.json already uses. The design idea behind it is a derived attribute (derived-attribute); the term names the query column. Also the Calculated data type of a table holds such values.
