Data being correct, complete and unchanged by mistakes or attacks. A database protects it with rules (integrity constraints) that stop impossible values from being saved.

Sozyar Osman's CS book (S2, p. 66) translates integrity in the security triad as پاکی, but پاکی also means 'cleanliness' and the registry already uses پاککردنەوە for sanitization. CêIT proposes دروستی (correctness), which fits the deck's definition (data that is 'consistent and correct'). Use this one entry for every sense in the course: integrity problems of files, the integrity control, loss of integrity and integrity of data sent over the web.
