توان is the Kurdish school-mathematics word for a power: Kurdish Wikipedia's article on exponentiation is titled «توان (ماتماتیک)», cites the KRG Grade 7 mathematics book and calls the two numbers بنچینە (base) and توان (exponent). بەرزکردنەوە بۆ توان (raising to a power) names the operation and keeps توان for the exponent itself, as the calculus terms do (exponent = توان, base-of-power = بنچینە). Proposed.
