An operator for maths: + (add), - (subtract), * (multiply), / (divide), % (remainder) and ** (power). Python also has // ().
کارپێکەرێکە بۆ بیرکاری: + (کۆکردنەوە)، - (لێدەرکردن)، * (لێکدان)، / (دابەشکردن)، % (پاشماوە) و ** (توان). Python هەروەها //ـی هەیە ().

Based on the Latin-script notes' «Krdaryy zhmerayy» (کرداری ژمێرەیی, "arithmetic operation"). Barzinji's dictionary: هێما و نیشانەکانی ژماردن، نیشانەکانی ژمێرەیی (and کردارە ژمێرەییەکان for arithmetic operations); the Grade 7 textbook calls these operations کردارە بیرکارییەکان.
