An inequality in which x appears only to the first power, such as $3x-7<5$. Solve it like an equation, but reverse the sign when you multiply or divide by a negative number.

Proposed as a phrase. The owner's essay uses هێڵەکی (جەبری هێڵەکی) for linear algebra.
