Password hashing

Storing a password as a slow, salted hash instead of the password itself. In PHP use password_hash() to save it and password_verify() to check it at login; never use md5() or sha1() for this.

خەزنکردنی تێپەڕەوشەیە وەک هاشێکی خاو کە نرخێکی هەڕەمەکی ⁦(salt)⁩ی تێکەڵ کراوە، نەک خودی تێپەڕەوشەکە. لە PHPـدا password_hash() بۆ خەزنکردن و password_verify() بۆ پشکنین لە کاتی بەکار بهێنە؛ هەرگیز md5() یان sha1() بۆ ئەم کارە بەکار مەهێنە.

Save $hash in the database; at login, check the typed password with password_verify().

Uses the notes' تێپەڕەوشە (password). For 'password' the Grade 7 textbook says وشەی نهێنی, the Kurdish scientists' dictionary تێپەڕەوشە, and Barzinji's dictionary پاسۆرد، وشەی پەڕینەوە، هێمای تێپەڕبوون، هێمای پەڕینەوە، ووشەی نهێنی.
