No Kurdish source names this list. پلەبەندی (ranking by levels, as in پلەبەندیی کۆمەڵایەتی, social hierarchy) is proposed; هەرەمی (pyramid-shaped) is kept for the hierarchical database model, as printed by Barzinji's dictionary (S4). In this list 'field' is the registry's field (ستوون) and 'file' its file (فایل): a file here is a group of related records. Corrected at the merge (2026-10-18): the course slide's "Bit (Character)" level joins two levels; bits make bytes, and one byte holds one character, so the ladder is bit → byte/character → field → record → file → database (as the lesson dba-data-and-information teaches).
