An operation that compares or tests values and gives true or false, such as greater than, less than, equal to, AND, OR and NOT. The arithmetic logic unit does logical operations as well as arithmetic ones.

The owner's report «بنچینەکانی کۆمپیوتەر» («کردارە ژیربێژییەکان (Logical Operations)») and the KRG Grade 7 IT textbook use ژیربێژی for 'logical', and Barzinji's dictionary describes the ALU's work as «کردارە ژمێرەییەکان و کردارە ژیربێژییەکان». The registry's logical-operator says لۆجیکی, so «کرداری لۆجیکی» is kept as an alternative; a reviewer may want one word for 'logical' site-wide. Merge 2026-10-25: «کرداری ژیربێژی» became «کاری لۆجیکی» — «کردار» is kept for a programming function only (owner) and CêIT writes ONE word for "logical", «لۆجیکی», as in logic-gate, logical-operator, logic-error and the course name «دیزاینی لۆجیکی دیجیتاڵ»; the owner's «ژیربێژی» stays an alternative.
