The owner's own term in report «بنچینەکانی کۆمپیوتەر»: «یەکەی ژیربێژیی بیرکارییانە (بە ئینگلیزی: Arithmetic Logic Unit) — ئەمە مێشکی کۆمپیوتەرەیە». Barzinji's dictionary (p. 18) gives «یەکەی ژمێرەیی ژیربێژی» and the KRG Grade 7 IT textbook «یەکەی هەژمارکردن و ژیربێژی»; many teachers simply say ALU. Merge 2026-10-25: kept the owner's own name although CêIT now writes «لۆجیکی» for "logical" (logical-operation «کاری لۆجیکی»): the ALU is a fixed name and all three Kurdish sources use ژیربێژی in it.
