A small picture of a bigger item, such as a slide, a photo or a page, that lets you see many items at once and click the one you want.

Note on the Kurdish termتێبینی دەربارەی زاراوە کوردییەکە

Barzinji's computer dictionary (S4, p. 167/154) gives وێنەی بچووک and وێنەی بچووککراو for Thumbnail. The second is used because وێنەی بچووک ('a small picture') is everyday Kurdish that CêIT lessons already use in its ordinary sense.
