The variables that exist right now, with their values, kept in memory by MATLAB or Octave. The Workspace panel lists them; clear removes them.

Note on the Kurdish termتێبینی دەربارەی زاراوە کوردییەکە

Proposed by MLW1 (2026-10-24) for the MATLAB track of fundamentals-of-programming (matlab-welcome, matlab-calculator; later MATLAB lessons use it too). «شوێنی کار» = the place where the work lies (the variables in memory); the panel name stays English («پانێڵی Workspace»). Compare Persian «فضای کاری». Needs linguistic review. Marked everyday: «شوێنی کار» is also the everyday word for a workplace (used so in several IT, cybersecurity and English lessons).
