Definitionپێناسە

A program that reads source code and runs it statement by statement, without first making a separate machine-code file. Python and PHP are run by interpreters (which first turn the code into behind the scenes).

Note on the Kurdish termتێبینی دەربارەی زاراوە کوردییەکە

Not in the notes; Kurdish IT teaching mostly uses the loanword, and وەرگێڕ (translator) is used loosely for both interpreter and compiler. Barzinji's dictionary also uses وەرگێڕ for an interpreter (وەرگێڕی بەرنامەی بەیسک = BASIC interpreter).
