A ribbon tab that appears only while a certain kind of object is selected, such as a table, picture or shape, and disappears when you click somewhere else.

Microsoft's name is 'contextual tab'; older versions grouped them under headings such as Table Tools and Picture Tools. No Kurdish source has a term; کاتی ('temporary') describes what students see. A reviewer may prefer a closer word for 'contextual'. Proposed.
