Future

Definitionپێناسە

An object that stands for a value that will be ready later, after slow work such as a network request, a file operation or a database query. It is first uncompleted, then completes with a value or with an error. JavaScript calls the same idea a Promise.

کە جێگەی نرخێک دەگرێتەوە کە دواتر ئامادە دەبێت، دوای کارێکی هێواش وەک بۆ ڕایەڵە، کارێک لەسەر فایل یان بنکەدراوە. سەرەتا تەواونەبووە، پاشان بە نرخێک یان بە هەڵەیەک تەواو دەبێت. JavaScript هەمان بیرۆکە بە Promise ناو دەبات.

The owner's bilingual paper «جیاوازیی نێوان کرداری ئاسایی و داهاتوویی لە فڵەتەردا» explains Future as «داهاتوو»: something «کە وێنای نرخێک دەکات کە لە داهاتوودا ... بەردەست دەبێت». Proposed: «نرخی داهاتوو» ('future value') from that explanation; in code it stays Future.
