The opposite value of a Boolean variable: if A = 0 its complement is 1, and if A = 1 it is 0. It is written with a bar, $\overline{A}$, or a prime, $A'$.

Note on the Kurdish termتێبینی دەربارەی زاراوە کوردییەکە

«تەواوکەر» is the KRG school word for complement (the KRG school maths glossary (grades 7–12)). Same Kurdish word as the set complement in maths, but a different id; not the 1's or 2's complement of a binary number.
