A word with a fixed meaning in the language, such as if, while, def and return in Python or echo and function in PHP. Keywords usually cannot be used as names.

The notes write «وشەی کلیلەیی», with a triple ی before an ezafe («وشەیەکی کلیلەییی»). The Kurdish scientists' dictionary uses کلیلەوشە (and وشەی پارێزراو for a reserved word).
