Definitionپێناسە

One vertical line of cells in a table. In a Word or PowerPoint table () or a spreadsheet you insert, delete and resize columns. HTML has no column tag: the columns of an HTML table come from the cells of each row, counted from the start of the row. In a database table a column is called a . A is often drawn as a table of rows and columns too.

یەک هێڵی ستوونیی خانەکانە لە خشتەیەکدا. لە Word یان PowerPoint و لە بەرنامەی خشتەییدا ستوون زیاد دەکەیت، دەیسڕیتەوە و پانییەکەی دەگۆڕیت. Note on the Kurdish termتێبینی دەربارەی زاراوە کوردییەکە

The same Kurdish word ستوون is used for a database column (field, domain db), just as خشتە serves html-table, office-table and db-table. Generalised at the merge (2026-10-18): use this entry for the columns of HTML, Word/PowerPoint and spreadsheet tables and of grids, and field for the columns of a database table.
