Transitions control the way slides move into and out of view during a slide show. In this lesson you will learn what a transition is, how to use the Transitions gallery, and how to set Effect Options, sound and speed. Then you will practise.

ترانزیشنەکان ئەوە کۆنترۆڵ دەکەن کە سلایدەکان لە کاتی سلایدشۆدا (Slide Show) چۆن دێنە بەرچاو و چۆن دەڕۆن. لەم وانەیەدا فێر دەبیت ترانزیشن چییە، چۆن پێشانگای Transitions بەکاربهێنیت و چۆن ⁦Effect Options⁩، دەنگ و خێرایی دیاری بکەیت. پاشان ڕاهێنان دەکەیت.

Remember: a transition belongs to the slide it moves on to, not the one it leaves. If you want to change how slide 2 appears, you select slide 2 and give it a transition.

The course sorts the transitions into three strengths:

Depending on the transition, you can refine its effect with the Effect Options menu, next to the gallery. The menu changes with the effect: for most effects it offers directions, for others a shape or a style.

بەپێی جۆری ترانزیشن، دەتوانیت بە مێنیوی (Menu) ⁦Effect Options⁩، لە تەنیشت پێشانگاکە، کاریگەرییەکەی وردتر ڕێک بخەیت. مێنیوەکە لەگەڵ کاریگەرییەکەدا دەگۆڕێت: بۆ زۆربەی کاریگەرییەکان ئاڕاستە پێشکەش دەکات و بۆ هەندێکی تر شێوەیەک (Shape) یان شێوازێک.

In plain words: most effects can arrive from a direction. If you choose Cover, Effect Options lets you say whether the new slide covers the old one from the left, the right, the top or the bottom (for example From Bottom).

As well as the effect options, you can set three more things for every transition. They sit in the Timing group on the right of the Transitions tab:

Sound: a sound can play while the slide changes. Open the Sound list and choose a ready sound such as Applause, Chime or Wind, or choose Other Sound… to use a sound file of your own.

Sound: دەنگێک دەتوانێت لە کاتی گۆڕینی سلایدەکەدا لێبدرێت. لیستی هەڵبژاردنی (Drop-down list) Sound بکەرەوە و دەنگێکی ئامادە هەڵبژێرە، وەک Applause، Chime یان Wind، یان ⁦Other Sound⁩… هەڵبژێرە بۆ بەکارهێنانی فایلێکی (File) دەنگی خۆت.

Duration is the speed of the transition: how many seconds the movement takes. Type a number of seconds in the Duration box, for example 0.5 or 2. The box shows seconds with two digits after the point: 00.50 or 02.00. A bigger number means a slower change.

Duration خێرایی ترانزیشنەکەیە: جووڵەکە چەند چرکە دەخایەنێت. ژمارەی چرکەکان لە سندووقی Duration بنووسە، بۆ نموونە ⁦0.5⁩ یان 2. سندووقەکە چرکەکان بە دوو ژمارە دوای خاڵەکە پیشان دەدات: 00.50 یان 02.00. ژمارەی گەورەتر واتە گۆڕانی هێواشتر.

Advance Slide says when the transition happens. On Mouse Click means it waits for you: the slide changes when you click or press a key. After means it happens by itself once the time you set has passed.

Apply To All: set one transition the way you like it, with its effect options, sound, duration and timing, then click Apply To All. Every slide in the presentation now uses it.

⁦Apply To All⁩: یەک ترانزیشن بەو جۆرە ڕێکبخە کە پێت خۆشە، لەگەڵ ⁦Effect Options⁩، دەنگ، ماوە و کاتەکەی، پاشان کلیک لە ⁦Apply To All⁩ بکە. ئێستا هەموو سلایدەکانی فایلی پێشکەشکردنەکە (Presentation) بەکاری دەهێنن.

Removing a transition: select the slide and click None in the gallery. To remove the transitions from all the slides, choose None and then click Apply To All.

لابردنی ترانزیشنێک: سلایدەکە هەڵبژێرە و لە پێشانگاکەدا کلیک لە None بکە. بۆ لابردنی ترانزیشنەکان لە هەموو سلایدەکان، None هەڵبژێرە و پاشان کلیک لە ⁦Apply To All⁩ بکە.

Morph is a special transition. When two slides that follow each other share an object, Morph moves it smoothly from its place on the first slide to its new place, size or colour on the second. Microsoft recommends it for smooth movement, and it can replace several animations.

A transition should help the audience follow you. If they notice the transition more than your message, it is the wrong transition.
